About

I am currently a PhD student investigating methods for accelerating multi-agent reinforcement learning by coordinating teams consisting of agents which have existing relevant skills. I'm a member of the Autonomous Agents Research Group at the University of Edinburgh, as part of the 4-year RAS-CDT programme of the Edinburgh Centre for Robotics. Before this, I completed my MEng at the University of Cambridge.

I am broadly interested in multi-agent systems, reinforcement learning (and general topics in AI/ML), robotics, forecasting, dynamical systems, mathematics, software development. I'm also interested in Effective Altruism, and help organise EA Edinburgh and AI Safety Hub Edinburgh (AISHED).

My non-technical interests/hobbies include local conservation work, weightlifting, geocaching, reading (particularly ‘modern classics’ and sci-fi), and many other things.
